Dreamt of Having A Baby

Sunday, September 5th, 2010

From: Audrey Sep 3, 2010 @ 7:10 am
I dreamt that I had a baby boy. I wanted to call him Edward, but changed it because I thought he is gonna be teased or called Eddie. I remember given him bottle and in the dream he constantly in my arms and then gone. Then there where big dog trying to bite him and I pick him up. Then at my mom’s place and decided to call him Ruben. Then went down to my granny and told her she shouldn’t sleep without her oxygen mask (she is in hospital on Oxygen) and that I’ll come and show ruben to her tomorrow as he wasn’t in my arms anymore. My mom, and dad was in the dream, but my husband wasn’t really prominent. I remember being shocked having the baby in my arms and that I couldn’t believe that it was my baby, but the feeling was good. Strange. We are not planning on having children for a couple of years… What do you think does it mean

Hello Audrey,
Dreaming of having a baby can mean you’ve given birth to a new idea and need to nurture it and hold on to it, yet you lose site of it at times. The dog trying to bite the baby is someone who disapproves of the idea or of the baby itself. However grandmother and parents appear to be supportive. It is not at all uncommon to dream of our children before we ever conceive. Now, the names in your dream appear to indicate a male child coming your way.
Edward means Happy, fortunate. Ruben, means “behold- a son”. In the Bible, Jacobs 1st born from wife Leah was called Ruben.
Guess only time will tell.

Drowning Toddler Dream

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Dear Dr Kathy,
In my dream, I was in a tub with my toddlers (4 and 2) and my mother came in. Side note: It was weird because an old friend of mine also came in the tub, another friend’s toddler, and eventually my husband who came afterward (who I promptly told to cover up!) I saw my oldest struggling to keep his head afloat so I drained the water out (which was mucky from cleaning products) to fresh, warm water. My two year old was on my right side at the time when I realized that I didn’t see him anymore. I looked below and he was under the water. I quickly grabbed him and tried to hand him to my mother to help me revive him, (he was not breathing at first) but she hesitated to grab him, not knowing what was going on. So I turned him over and hit him on his back until water came out of his mouth and he started breathing again. I was relieved at first, but after a little while, I noticed that he was dosing off in the tub again. At this point, my oldest son had gotten out of the water. I laid him out on the ground and pushed his chest in for CPR and more water started coming out of his mouth, I repeated this action. At the same time, I lay my hands on his head and prayed vigorously for his healing in Jesus’ Name. He seemed to be reviving, going in and out of consciousness, then I woke up. This is the second or third time I have dreamed that my son was nearly drowning, the last dream I had like this, he was drowning in a lake or pond. Thank you so much for your help.

Side note: In a completely different dream last night, my husband, the kids and I were going down a pier into a shallow body of water that was calm. He put his foot in the water but it was cold, so he told us to stay there while he swept the water away with a broom. After doing so, he helped us down and we put our feet in wet sand. That’s all I remember regarding that.
Ashanda

Dear Ashanda,
The tub of murky water is where you are spiritually. This indicates spiritual exhaustion on your part (and husband if he is in the same water.) The people in your life, the church, friends and family members zap you of your spiritual energy, leaving yourself wide open for spiritual attack. You are struggling to stay a float, trying to be all things to all people. You are willing to breathe life into others, healing them, but neglecting self. You may need to ask your Mom to help you with the kids for time-out.

The dream that follows at a calm beach indicates a definite need to take time-out for your spiritual renewal and healing for yourself. I hope you are praying for protection for you and family from attack otherwise negativity can attach itself to us, causing us to feel weighed down. You Need some spiritual cleansing and renewal but you are not taking heed to the dream warnings. This is why you are having so many dreams of drowning and water. I wish you blessings and rest.

Dreams About Water

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Dear Dr Kathy

My name is Ashanda. I often have dreams where I am around a large body of water. Typically a beach setting. I am either driving near it, (my family is from the islands) or I am standing on or near the sand looking out at the water. At times, the water will be calm and inviting, and at other times, the water becomes very dangerous and I find myself warning people that the water is coming on the shore, like a tsunami, to overtake the people around it. More so than anything, water is a prevalent factor in a lot of my dreams, whether I am looking at the water, or immersed in the water. I don’t really recall seeing sea life, just water. Another note about my dreams apart from water is that I often battle demonic spirits in my dreams. I am continually rebuking demons in my dreams. In the water dreams, however, I do not battle spirits. Hope this information is not too vague.”

Dear Ashanda,
Water is very symbolic of spiritual activity, emotional implications or your current state of mind. When the water is calm you are being renewed, serene, at peace, but when the waters are in turmoil often indicates the dreamer is feeling overwhelmed by some situation in the environment or by some inner emotional turmoil.

If you find yourself rebuking demons often, it would make sense that you would need spiritual refreshment and renewal. However, not all water dreams mean the same so I am just generalizing here as your is vague. My concern about the tsunami dream could be a future event. The signs of end times and weather changes are upon us, so keep your ears to the spirit of God for more information regarding this possibility.

My hat off to you for working with your dreams. Its a great gift and a blessing.

Sincerely
Dr kathy

A Rat In the House

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Wellsphere member has sent you the following message:

Dear Dr KATHY,

I had a dream I walking to the kitchen. I was looking for something and heard a loud sneaking sound. I walked towards the sound and it was beyond cabinet . It was white ratlike creature on a trap. I set to kill rats. It was screaming and it looked at me but I kept my distance. It was trying to get out of the trap and attack but I ran.

Dear Dreamer
The kitchen is the heart of the home. Do you at times feel trapped in your own home? Are there times you want to just scream out loud to let everyone know you are hurting? Do you fear confronting your adversary or the “rat” that could be in your life now? Do you actually set traps in your home currently?

Let me know your answers before I confirm an interpretation.

Sincerely
Dr Kathy

Response from Dreamer:

Dear Dr. Kathy,
Yes to all your questions. My sister was in a bad situation with her ex husband and NY city court system. By the Grace of God, He steps in and what was done in the dark came to light. I had to help support her but I feel some how trapped. I know God is here for my sister but I afraid to move on. I know I made the right decisions to help. I sacrifice a lot and I need to go back out in the world. I don’t know if I doing the right thing. I already have regret because this situation. I don’t want anymore.

The symbol of the Phoenix

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Dear Dr Kathy,
I dream that i am in city this city was not totally big but there is an event that I’ve seen my self looking on a top view of the city and i was amazed because this city was build in a mountain and on his two sides was filled with blazing fire i was wondering because this city is the only structure I’ve seen. cause the other environment i see was only a fire and a mountain everywhere on the land and i see a red bird flying in the sky and i call it Phoenix (in Myth) i am wondering what was my dream trying to tell me it is the ETERNAL FIRE of HELL?”

“Dear Vaanish”
The city is the center of activity going on in you. There are many changes taking place in your life. The mountain is closest to God…where you are. The fire represents purification. The phoenix is a mythical bird which can be consumed by fire and rise above the ashes, renewing itself for the better. This is a transformation process going on inside of you, a spiritual rebirth.

Thank you for sharing this dream…Very powerful symbols!

Sincerely

Dr Kathy

Question about consulting with “the Dead”

Monday, January 11th, 2010

Hello, my first time here & it was out of curiosity i visited this blog because am HUNGRY for information. I dream a lot that a xtain brother nick-named me ‘JOSEPH THE DREAMER when we were in the higher institution. My dreams started at an early childhood which some do come to pass, some not, some are attack & some are revelation concerning my spiritual life [anytime I do ask]. Regarding the response you gave ANNE, I am surprised because we have been taught that the living have no relationship with the dead & once a man dies, it is then judgement follows. please enlighten me. thanx

Dear Kareem,
The living in Christ (The righteous) such as Moses and Elijah, appeared to Jesus as a comfort to him before his soon to be death. See Luke 9:28-33 below:
28.About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray. 29.As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning. 30.Two men, Moses and Elijah, 31.appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem. 32.Peter and his companions were very sleepy, but when they became fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. 33.As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to him, “Master, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”

34.While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud. 35A. voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to him.” 36.When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves, and told no one at that time what they had seen.

There is no simple explaination but I will do my best to help you understand. The word “dead or “death” are used symbolically as well as literally throughout scripture. A death can be a dying to the old carnal nature of sin to arrive at a christian state of living…but not an actual physical death. Those that choose not to follow the ways of God are considered “dead already.” Matthew 8:22 says, “But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” And, “Matthew 22:32, “‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ [ Exodus 3:6] ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

This meaning, the living dead (Non-believers) are to bury the Physical dead. Those are the ones who are judged at time of death. The believer and follower of Christ just sleeps and the spirit is with God. Matthew 9:24, “he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.”

Now to answer your question: We, believers should not be seeking the unrighteous dead for answers about life. We can pray for the unrighteous and we may see them in our dreams as a reminder to do so. We may be visited by the unrighteous as a means to make an amends (from them or from you to them). But we do not seek counsel from such entities. As for those spirits that have crossed over from this earth plane to the living spirits in Christ (the righteous), we can also pray to them asking for guidence as oftentimes Catholics pray to Mary and other deceased saints for particular circumstances. In my reference above, Jesus sought comfort from Moses and Elijah. He (Jesus) was transfigured (in spirit body) as we are when asleep, visiting the other side.

In the same chapter of luke 9:34-36, the disciples heard a voice from Heaven, which was the voice of God telling them Jesus is his son and they should listen to him. So we have to ask, why didn’t Jesus go to his Father for comfort rather than Moses and Elijah? Hmmmm

I hope this has enlightened you somewhat and if you have further questions, don’t hesitate to ask. The fact you are hungry for the word is a wonderful thing. Keep seeking and keep asking until you find the answers you are looking for.

Blessings
DrKathy

Dream of “Digging for Money”

Monday, October 26th, 2009

Dear Dr. Kathy
I had this dream that me and my three friends was on the beach. We were going to go somewhere but we didn’t have no monies. So as I looked on the ground I saw a few coins, I picked those up. Then I saw more, at this time I’m digging and finding more and more coins. I have already gathered a full pouch of coins, then as I continue to digg. I saw a a white pouch buried, I picked it up and it was full of more coins. So I have now two pouches full of coins, I stopped digging and left the beach with the two coins in my hand. Can you tell me what you think this could mean,
Thank you
Tima

Dear Tima,
Your dream indicates you will never go without money for long. God will see to it you will always be provided for. Continue to seek him, dig into his word, and you will find his grace.

Blessings to you

Dream of planting flowers and Flying

Monday, October 26th, 2009

Dear Dr Kathy
I had a dream where I was in the back yard with my wife, her three baby girls, and her son while planting flowers about the backyard of our home. all the while, I was soaring unbelievably high. I would fly around with great control and speed. I would practically launch myself straight into the sky until I couldn’t see my house, then fly back down, land, and then walk over and help the girls plant flowers. I flew around the yard in circles playing with them, then shoot myself back into the heavens. Before I napped and had this dream, I prayed for financial increase and my own business doing what I am gifted and passionate of … music. What did this dream mean?

Kevin
_______________________________________________________________

Dear Kevin,

I can tell by your dream that you are very compassionate about your music and about your family.

Flowers are an expression of Love, compassion, caring thoughts, happiness and freedom. Flowers may also be time-tellers as many blossoms are closely associated with a particular season. You didn’t say if your flowers were seeds or in pots so the time factor would be according to bloom. If the flowers are are in bud, its like a promise of good things to come, eventual fruits of your labors. The type of flower you are planting also has specific character and meaning, so feel free to write me back if you know what flowers your planting. In any case, you are planting hope, affirmations, prayers and goals for the near future.

Flying and shooting for the sky are your high ideals and desires. Coming back down to earth is being realistic and facing today’s responsibilities, your family. They appear to support you in your dreams as you do theirs. You think in circles and doubt yourself at times about the decision to follow through on your plans. At this point, watering and nurturing those ideas (flowers) will determine the outcome. Flowers in bloom is what you seek…be patient and faithful and your dreams will come true.

Best Wishes…and thank you for sharing!

Sincerely
Dr Kathy

Dreams about Having Sex

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Sexual Dreams
Have you ever dreamed of having sex with someone you know, but aren’t the least bit attracted to? Or dreamed of romping in bed with a celebrity - or even a stranger? Have you ever dreamed of having sex with (gasp!) an animal? Such titillating dreams are perfectly normal. Sex can be a symbol of being intimately involved in a situation or a simple coming together of opposites. It could also symbolize the possibility of a new birth, coming from the union of two concepts, two opposing ideas, coming together. I have had dreams about having sex with my boss (male or female) usually indicating merging ideas or being in one accord about a project. Much depends on the feelings, actions, and background of the dream.

These dreams often symbolize your sexual attitudes or desires, or they can reflect your urge to merge with a characteristic of your dream lover - a quality that you want in yourself. I have dreamt of Patrick Swayze because I desired his talent to dance. So, I took some dance lessons to meet the desire and Waa’La….I can dance! I’ve dreamt of other celebrities because of characteristics I either already have but don’t recognize or the celebrity has characteristics I admire and desire To merge with them (develop them in myself). As you can see, sex dreams aren’t always about sex.

Your sex life
The most obvious reason for dreaming of sex is that you went to bed aroused, and the dream was a reflection of your, um, hormones. The dream might have provided an outlet for suppressed desire, or your unconscious mind might have wanted you to take notice of this part of your life - are you, by any chance, neglecting it? After all, the purpose of most dreams is to illuminate your inner world, so you can lead a more fulfilling life - in this case, a more fulfilling sex life.

However, as with all dreams, sexual dreams are seldom quite this obvious. If you awaken wondering why on earth you dreamed of being in bed with your boss, for instance, then the dream probably isn’t about desire, but about something else going on inside you as I stated above. A person living alone or single and among the same sex type may need to balance their life and have a very real need to converse, touch, and interact with someone of the opposite sex.

We need to remember that there is a strong connection between creativity, spirituality and sex. All of these stem from the same center of the brain. The difference lies in the direction of our will. Often a strong sex drive is an inner urge to connect with God, to become more spiritual or a need to develop your spirituality to fill the void. If you find your sex life isn’t filling your void, nor is your creativity filling the void, you can be sure it’s a spiritual fix that you need.

Individuals who block their sexual desires because they fear its wrong, its dirty, or you feel guilty. Maybe you just repress it for religious reasons? Maybe you have low self worth and don’t date much? In any case, you need an outlet or a release and dreams are great for doing that for us. This works in other areas of our life also, such as repressed emotions can be expressed within dreams to get some relief.

All about you
The thing to remember is that most dream symbols represent parts of you in some way. Take that naughty dream about your boss - it may represent a merging of the minds or maybe you are wanting to be your own boss? The same can be true of doing the wild thing with a wild animal in a dream. You’re embracing your instinctual side, which can be a source of creativity - or a symbol of undisciplined behavior you need to reign in. Celebrities fall into this category as well. If you dream of having sex with someone famous, ask yourself what you admire - or despise! - about this person. Chances are, that quality is being awakened in you.

Your Lover
On the other hand, dreams of sex with your significant other can reveal the health of your intimate connection. Take note of how you feel upon waking. Positive feelings point to a healthy sexual bond. Waking up feeling angry or frustrated is a warning sign that something’s amiss in your relationship. Hidden feelings can surface in dreams, so do some soul-searching to see if there’s an issue you need to talk over with your partner.

Gender bender
Dreams of merging with the opposite sex can also symbolize the merging of 0pposite “halves” of your psyche. If you’re a woman, you’re integrating the male (assertive, analytical, logical) part of your psyche. If you’re a man, you’re accessing the female (receptive, nurturing, passive) side of yourself. The more balanced you are, the more mental and emotional resources you’ll have at your disposal.

Strangers
What about doing the deed with someone you don’t know? Strangers usually represent the awakening of a trait or talent that you’re presently unaware of. Again, note any feelings you have about the dream. This will reveal whether the trait is something you want to develop - or a troubling issue you need to resolve.

There is still much more about sex dreams we could discuss but if you have any questions, feel free to write and share your sex dream with us.

Dream about Bugs,Spiders & A Scorpion

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Dear Dr Kathy,

I dreamed that upon opening my eyes from sleeping in my bed, I saw a nest of ugly spider hatchlings hovering in a web-nest over the lower corner of my bed, and thought, “no wonder I’ve been getting bug bites.” When I sat up in bed, the spiders had morphed into huge adult Orange Garden Spiders (those kind are ugly and have always scared me), and them & their now huge & convoluted web system now encompassed over my bed. I ran around the side of my bed which was then the only way to avoid the web, and felt something brushing against my face. I pulled spider web strands off my face, looked back, and saw that the side of my bed had been taken over by a Banded Garden Spider (also an ugly kind) who had webbed up the side of my bed in no time. When I got out of my bedroom into the kitchen, there was a tan shiny scorpion running around. I didn’t believe it at first, because they are not natural in my home state, and I friend I told didn’t believe me at first either, but I looked again and confirmed that it was indeed a scorpion. I tried to explain what I saw to the friend, imitating its pincers with my hands, which was slightly comical. I kept trying to pound it with my fist to kill it, but it would always hop into a dark crevice, so I kept missing it. And it wasn’t just an innocent creature minding it’s own business. It was lunging at me and at my dog. I never did kill it.

Kimberly
………………………………………………………………………………….

Hello Kimberly.

Thank you for Your answers to my questions. Your answers do not coincide with a typical symbolic dream so I can only assume its spiritual and/ or psychological.

Sleep walking is believed by researchers to only occur during Delta sleep, which is our deepest level of consciousness. Most believe that dreams do not occur at this level; however, what does occur is healing and restoration. At this level of sleep, it is believed that sleep walking is an expression of emotional conflicts which have been repressed during the day or as far back as childhood. At night when we sleep, by walking off the adrenalin or the emotional turmoil within, we are actually healing our mind by releasing the emotion/s.

Bugs/Spiders often represent small annoyances or larger ones depending on the size of the bug and how many. The little things we worry about oftentimes distract us from our real purpose and upset our serenity and our relationship with God. Your own thoughts, feelings or problems bugging you robs you of your own personal power by allowing these people, places or things to get under your skin. The dream is showing you how you spin a big web out of a small thing, allowing your emotions to control rather then taking some positive action to end or control the irritations that bug you the most. (I.e. You may have to become more assertive). Spinning such large webs (your mental activity)uses up a lot of energy without actually getting anywhere.

A Scorpion is symbolic of the “enemy” who seeks to kill, steal and destroy your joy. All he can ever do is whisper negativity in your head hoping to distract you from hearing the word of God. If you fear him and his ugly followers (garden spider), you remain powerless, but if you claim the word of God and cast down those thoughts, then you have the power to take back control. You can’t kill the enemy, but you can have power over him. (You may disbelieve my words but pray the prayers I send you – attached- and claim your Christian rights over the enemy and see for yourself the results).

Luke 10:19 NIV •
“I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you”

The Kitchen is symbolic for FOOD FOR THOUGHT. The enemy is playing with such thoughts in your head. Lots of mixing, digesting and/or (disposing) of thoughts that are negative and bringing you down.

The living Room is symbolic of area of daily mental activity, thoughts and attitudes, your basic belief system of yourself, who and what you are. By seeing this woman from work in your dream may be an unconscious wish to be someone else, which indicates a poor self image.

The mattress slipping tells me your Christian foundation or belief in your higher power is slipping and some adjustments need to be made.

***Prayer of protection over self and your home:***

“In the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of His cross and blood, I/we bind the spirits, powers and forces of the earth, the underground, the air, the water, the fire, the netherworld and the satanic forces of nature.

I/We rebuke any curses, hexes, or spells sent against me or my family or my pets. You shall have no power over us any longer. No weapon formed against us shall prosper and I send any curses, spells or negative energy directly to Jesus for Him to deal with as He will. Lord, I ask You to bless my enemies by sending Your Holy Spirit to lead them to repentance.

I/We bind all interplay, interaction and communication of evil spirits. I/We claim protection of the shed blood of Jesus Christ over us all and over my home. Thank you God for your living word, thank you this is your will to protect me from the snares of the enemy. Thank you, it is done in the name of Jesus Christ.

By the Blessed Power of God and The Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth I rebuke the enemies of darkness, infernal invaders, all wicked legions, assemblies and sects, All whom live here or shall enter upon this property I claim the Blood of the Lamb, the shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command that you leave this home at once! In the Name of Jesus Christ Our Saviour, Amen.

I hope this interpretation has helped you and if you have any more questions regarding this dream, I will be happy to answer to the best of my ability. Thank you for allowing me to serve.

Blessings and peace be with you,

DrKathy
